Interlink has installed a solar system in a remote island at Malaysia. This solar system consists of 56 modules connected in parallel to charge the battery and supply power to domestic and lighting equipment at the lighthouse. The batteries are designed to supply power for 5 days in case there is no sunlight. This system is designed for a remote offshore site and thus is practically maintenance-free. In comparative to the standard power source, this solar system is more cost-effective in the long run. These photos were taken during our installation.
