Interlink has installed a solar system in a remote village at Brunei and this solar system consists of 24 modules connected in parallel to charge the battery and supply power to telecommunication equipment, shelter light and air warning light at the tower. The batteries are designed to supply power for 5 days in case there is no sunlight. This system is designed to support the transmission system of the telecommunication in remote area and thus is practically maintenance-free. In comparative to the standard power source, this solar system is more cost-effective in the long run. These photos were taken during our installation.
